Reading Desk

by Paul Nicholson

This standing desk was commissioned for a home library as a place to do casual reading and research. Standing desks were popular in the 18th and 19th centuries and that heritage is reflected in its style. Interior features, including retractable writing surfaces and carefully crafted secret drawers, compliment the detailed exterior inlays of Tasmanian Blackwood and American Cherry.
