Woodwork Classes in Sydney

Term Classes

Contact Paul to register your interest for Term 4 (commencing October 14). Please advise which classes you can attend.

The focus of tuition is on the development of hand skills using a wide variety of hand tools. After appropriate training and under ongoing supervision, students also have access to a comprehensive range of professional grade static machines and power tools.

Students work at their own pace and are treated individually according to their experience and woodworking aspirations.

The classes cater for all levels of experience but all students are encouraged to complete a series of prescribed projects that are designed to establish a good foundation of hand skills. Students then progress to designing and making their own projects with the guidance of the instructors.

The cost of materials for the set projects is included in the tuition fee. After that, there is a charge for wood including a small surcharge to cover the costs of selecting, buying and transporting the wood. Of course, you can provide your own wood for any of the projects.

Student to teacher ratio is generally 4 to 1.
